Traditional Writing

These are some of the short pieces I have written. Some are simple narrative pieces, while others are more experimental.

A Simple Request

This piece focuses on delivering exposition about the setting through the narrative. It establishes details about the world, while revealing the traits of the characters in the story, all through a simple dialogue scene.

Mining Expedition

This is a piece of micro-fiction, inspired by the game Deep Rock Galactic. It totals just 51 words exactly, excluding the title.

A Mage's Wrath

In this piece, I used action to convey details about the magic system, without explaining it directly. I experimented with perspective by framing it as a story the narrator might tell diegetically.

The Tea Shop

This piece focuses on description and how it can be used to imply narrative details without overtly stating them.
